Concept-stage simulation for discussion with BPDB. Equipment figures are engineering assumptions pending OEM data and a feasibility study, and the 100 MW net output is not verified. Edit the assumptions at the bottom of the page and the whole plant recalculates.

Can DELTA-100 deliver 100 MW?

Each bar is the most net power the plant could export if only that system limited it, under current conditions. The yellow tick is the 100 MW target. Click a row to open that area.

Design assumptions (edit to test the design)

Model notes: engine fuel consumption follows a typical large two-stroke curve (about 170 g/kWh near full load); exhaust leaves the turbochargers at 215–260 °C and the exhaust gas boilers cool it no lower than the acid dew point setting; about 27% of engine fuel energy goes to the cooling water; HFO viscosity follows a 380 cSt grade. Benchmark from public records: Baraka Patenga, 50 MW, Tk 415 crore historical project cost, 3.2 MW waste-heat steam turbine.
